FOREIGN LANGUAGE CLASSROOM ANXIETY OF STUDENTS STUDYING ENGLISH LANGUAGE IN KAZAKHSTAN

A significant number of students studying a foreign language have experienced anxiety at some point during their studies. Kazakhstan is multilingual country, having three official languages (Kazakh, Russian, and English) as compulsory education, it raises the question whether experience any classroom, which significantly impacts learning process academic performance. This article aimed to explore level classroom among in 3rd 4th grade Department English Language Literature Translation Studies Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University, Turkestan, Kazakhstan. To test level, study was conducted by conducting an online survey 314 (266=female, 48=male) utilising Foreign Classroom Anxiety Scale (FLCAS). The results showed moderate anxiety, suggesting that teachers might been affected cultural aspects nation. Another assumption be mutual trust between creates atmosphere decreases anxiety. Furthermore, were eager looked forward conversing with native speakers. data confirms importance culture, peer support, proper programs, along continuous assistance encouragement from teachers.
